NAB Cup - St Kilda vs. Sydney

St Kilda

1. Jason Gram, 2. Steven King, 4. Clint Jones, 5. Ben McEvoy, 6. Zac Dawson, 7. Lenny Hayes, 10. Steven Baker, 11. Leigh Montagna, 12. Nick Riewoldt, 13. Adam Schneider, 14. Jarryn Geary, 18. Brendon Goddard, 19. Sam Gilbert, 20. David Armitage, 21. Nick Heyne, 22. Farren Ray, 23. Justin Koschitzke, 24. Sean Dempster, 25. Sam Fisher, 26. Nick Dal Santo, 27. Jason Blake, 28. Rhys Stanley, 30. Brett Peake, 32. Andrew McQualter, 33. James Gwilt, 39. Alistair Smith, 45. Luke Miles, 44. Stephen Milne, 49. Steven Gaertner

Watch out for:

Ben McEvoy, it could be time for the Saints to put him into the team every week, and fantasy coaches may want to do the same thing if that happens. He will be able to get solid stats in the ruck, but it is when he also goes forward and can get contested marks and goals that could really see his fantasy value and fantasy points average go up.

Armitage might be able to seal a regular spot in the St Kilda side with another good game here, not cheap in fantasy games but he can get a lot of stats. Heyne is cheap, Peake is affordable, they are other players to watch.

Sydney

1. Mark Seaby, 3. Jarrad McVeigh, 5. Ryan O’Keefe, 9. Nick Malceski, 10. Daniel Currie, 11. Ed Barlow, 12. Josh Kennedy, 14. Craig Bird, 15. Kieren Jack, 16. Gary Rohan, 17. Tadhg Kennelly, 18. Jesse White, 21. Ben McGlynn, 22. Byron Sumner, 24. Jude Bolton, 25. Ted Richards, 29. Martin Mattner, 30. Lewis Roberts-Thomson, 31. Brett Kirk, 32. Lewis Jetta, 33. Jarred Moore, 37. Adam Goodes, 38. Michael Pyke, 39. Heath Grundy, 40. Nick Smith, 41. Shane Mumford, 42. Paul Bevan, 43. Matthew O'Dwyer, 46. Taylor Gilchrist

Watch out for:

Shane Mumford, the Swans have named seven players who have played in the ruck before or have the potential to and it could be Mumford who is the number 1 ruckman there. If he gets the majority of the ruck minutes during the season he could be someone to have on fantasy teams, maybe in SuperCoach he will perform better with his contested work at ground level.

Rohan and Jetta have another game to show fantasy coaches that they should be on their teams. Rohan, as a forward, and Jetta, a fantasy midfielder, could both make money for fantasy teams early in the season.

McGlynn and Kennedy moved to Sydney for more opportunities, both could be playing for them in round 1 although after their first NAB Cup game it looked like McGlynn was a much better choice for fantasy teams.
