Mitch Banner - 12 kicks, 5 tackles, 3 goals
Maybe he won't be doing this when Gray and D Motlop are in the team, but if he is then he could be very quick money to make on the fantasy bench.
Jay Nash - 11 possessions
Fantasy coaches will want him to improve on those numbers when he plays again, and if he can show the ability to get close to 20 possessions a game he would be a bargain fantasy signing.
Nic Naitanui - 4 kicks, 11 handballs, 23 hitouts, 1 goal
Less than last game, but still good numbers when considering his fantasy price. Cox did play, 9 possessions, and he will do much better than that when the real games are on, and that could take some stats away from Naitanui.
Beau Waters - 11 possessions
If he is named for round 1, he is a great fantasy signing just due to his low price.
Notes:
The backup ruck spot for Port Adelaide is still anybody's guess, Cloke kicked 2 goals but he won't be doing that when Tredrea is playing and Cloke is still a rookie-listed player right now, Lobbe had low numbers and Trengove might have had only a small number of ruck minutes. C Cornes had 22 possessions and 5 marks and can still help fantasy teams. Rookie Hitchcock again showed he can kick goals, and he is a fantasy forward so he becomes a possible bench option. Moore did less, Schulz could be undervalued in fantasy games, Harding was productive and Surjan spent time in the middle but had low stats, 8 possessions. Lynch is up forward all the time now but seems to have forgotten how to kick, which has to be a worry for fantasy coaches as that used to be his best attribute. Ebert and Masten combined for 50 possessions, both of them could provide plenty of value for fantasy teams. Brett Jones made an appearance and had 20 possessions, he is a cheap fantasy player but isn't expected to be a regular player for the Eagles.
