North Melbourne
1. Hamish McIntosh, 2. Ed Lower, 3. Brady Rawlings, 4. Liam Anthony, 5. Ben Warren, 6. Lachlan Hansen, 7. Jack Ziebell, 9. Andrew Swallow, 11. Michael Firrito, 12. Lindsay Thomas, 13. Leigh Adams, 14. Gavin Urquhart, 15. Ben Ross, 16. Scott Thompson, 19. Sam Wright, 20. Drew Petrie, 22. Todd Goldstein, 24. Levi Greenwood, 25. Robbie Tarrant, 27. Aaron Edwards, 28. Ryan Bastinac, 29. Brent Harvey, 30. Daniel Pratt, 31. David Hale, 32. Cruize Garlett, 33. Matt Campbell, 39. Leigh Harding, 43. Marcus White, 46. Ben Speight.
Watch out for:
Levi Greenwood, he is cheap and a midfielder/defender who is likely to play every game this season. Greenwood's stats last game were more than acceptable, and another good game here will make him on of the few low-priced options to start in the fantasy back line.
Ryan Bastinac has a lower price than many of the other first-year fantasy onballers and if he is named for round 1 he will be on many fantasy benches. The Todd Goldstein versus David Hale position battle will continue, while both of them could play rounds 1 and 2 there may only be room for one of them in the North Melbourne side after that. Ziebell, Warren, Wright and Ross could all be fantasy bargains. There could be two Tarrants in this game, the North Melbourne one could be better value for fantasy teams.
Fremantle
1. Hayden Ballantyne, 2. Anthony Morabito, 4. Paul Hasleby, 5. Garrick Ibbotson, 6. Greg Broughton, 8. Nick Suban, 11. Des Headland, 13. Nathan Fyfe, 14. Antoni Grover, 15. Ryan Crowley, 16. David Mundy, 18. Luke McPharlin, 19. Clayton Hinkley, 20. Chris Tarrant, 21. Michael Barlow, 23. Chris Mayne, 24. Dylan Roberton, 28. Ryan Murphy, 29. Matthew Pavlich, 30. Zachary Clarke, 31. Aaron Sandilands, 32. Stephen Hill, 36. Alex Silvagni, 37. Michael Johnson, 40. Matt de Boer, 41. Paul Duffield, 43. Roger Hayden, 46. Clancee Pearce, 47. Jay van Berlo.
Watch out for:
Michael Barlow, he could be a fantasy star if the Dockers nominate him as a rookie available to play and then name him for round 1. See if he has a lot of the ball in this game.
Fyfe could play a lot this season as the Dockers go looking for goals. Suban and Ibbotson are playing this week, they don't cost a lot in fantasy games. Silvagni is the cheapest player around, but may find it hard to play early in the season unless a few injuries hit the back line there.
Morabito didn't have a huge game against Melbourne, he will need to increase his numbers to stay on fantasy teams for round 1. Hayden played well last week even though he was in a back line also containing high-volume stats players Broughton and Duffield, see how the ball is distributed between the three again.
