NAB Cup Review - Hawthorn 135 def Richmond 62

The big thing to come out the game for the Tigers was the name Dustin Martin ($149,500). This guy looks like the real deal and if you are serious about your Dream Team then he has to be a lock for you. He scored 88 points and was absolutely everywhere. Daniel Connors ($156,000) was the highest scorer for the Tiges with 98pts  racking up an impressive 25 touches to go along with 9 marks.  Shane Tuck ($422,300) was reasonably impressive after he was subbed into the game during the second quarter. But in terms of quality football from the Tigers as a whole, I’m afraid that it’s going to be another long year of you are a Tigers fan.

I know it’s only a pre-season match and I know it was only against Richmond but seeing the dominant Buddy ($354.900) kick the first 3 goals of the game was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. He ended up going off injured but still managed to kick 5 goals and rack up an impressive 92pts. DT guns like Sam Mitchell ($449,200)Jordan Lewis ($411,600) and Luke Hodge ($366,200) were all impressive scoring big totals of 132, 94 and 103 respectively. Liam Shiels ($250,500) all but cemented his spot with an impressive game (84pts) and is definitely somebody that people should be looking at for some value in their mids. Wade Skipper ($95, 800) was a little disappointing  (24pts) and despite not having too much game time he didn’t appear to make the most of it when he did. He is still cheap but he didn’t impress at all.

Over all it was a great site to see the Hawks back in business, even though its only against Richmond it was a dominant display.
