Ruck Combo's - Fantasy footy Idea's

Some of the possible ruck Combinations that could work well together including the starting duos, some possible three ruckmen groups that could work well, and also some complete four ruckmen setups.

Cox and Sandilands
Might be the easy way, sign the best two and forget about the ruck spot knowing no other fantasy teams will have a better ruck setup but wait to see how Cox's body is holding up.

Hille and Ottens
Cheap veterans, they have been among the top fantasy ruckmen before and could get close to that again or they could be past there best.

McIntosh and Petrie
A great duo last year, although you would need a bench ruckman to step in with Petrie suspended. Warnock, Charman, Skipper, Lobbe, there should be several options for that.

Cox and Naitanui
If you think they will be on the field together a lot, then sign them up. A fit Cox is ahead of all the other ruckmen except maybe Sandiland's, and Naitanui could find playing time as the backup ruckman, a forward and maybe a big midfielder too.

Tippett and White
If you are after the fantasy ruckmen who will be kicking goals, then consider these two, as well as Petrie. Kreuzer should have plenty of goals too, and Vickery might surprise some people if the Tigers put him at full forward.

Warnock and Leuenberger
If you start those two in the ruck, you will save a lot of money to use in other spots. If the Lions prefer Charman, you can then go with Warnock and Charman and that would be a really cheap combo.

Jolly and Fraser
Probably not a good idea, but if Jolly plays the way he did in Sydney last year with a lot of minutes and hitouts, and if Fraser gets a lot of playing time up forward or on the wing, then it would work. The preseason games will show what Collingwood could do.

Mumford and Hudson
These are two ruckmen who battle at ground level and can win the contested ball, in SuperCoach that can bring in some extra fantasy points. Unfortunately they do share ruck minutes with another ruckman at their AFL clubs.

Clark, Leuenberger and Charman
If you think Charman is cheap enough to sit on your bench, then you have everything covered for what Brisbane could do. You could even go with a Lion as the 4th, cheap ruckman with a member of their Mac Attack, McCulloch or McCauley.

Kreuzer, Brogan, Warnock, Lobbe
You get Kreuzer and Brogan who should play a lot of minutes, and on the bench you have two players who will play a lot more if the player at their AFL club is out. You may decide to have Trengove instead of Lobbe as the Power fantasy bench ruckman.

Hudson, Minson, Roughead and Prato
One for fans of the Bulldogs, or those who want to save money in the ruck. If Hudson or Minson miss, then the Bulldogs might replace them with Roughead. Prato is there as a cheap player on the fantasy bench, to save the most money, he isn't expected to be close to a game so you may want to spend a little bit more and put Cordy on the bench instead. If Hall wasn't there, and Minson was playing forward more, this ruck idea would be better.

Ryder, Hille, Bellchambers, Bock
Another possibility to look at, and something that could help conserve trades. If Ryder or Hille are out for the Bombers, they probably put in Bellchambers. If Ryder and Hille stay healthy and get stats in the ruck and up forward, and Ryder can also play at centre half back too, then they could both be among the best fantasy ruckmen.

Skipper, Lobbe, Trengove and Currie
If the coaches at Hawthorn and Port Adelaide said that they expected Skipper and Lobbe to play every week, then this ruck group would be very cheap for fantasy teams. It is unlikely to happen. But for the price of Brogan you would fill up every ruck spot on your fantasy team.

Tippett in the ruck, Petrie in the forward line
A different tactic, to take advantage of the new rule for moving players around who are eligible in more than one position. Tippett is the fantasy ruckman, Petrie would sit on the forwards bench for two games as he is suspended but after that you would have a lot of options when moving players forward and in the ruck.

There are a lot of other combinations that could work and I would love to hear them on here or on our facebook page :http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fantasy-Footy-Tips/308746502670?ref=mf
