NAB Cup Review - St Kilda 100 def. Collingwood 99

Heath Shaw (109), not only has he been in my Dream Team quite a bit but there’s something to like about the way he racks up the touches without being too accountable as a defender. You have to be happy with Luke Ball (105) in his first game for the ‘Pies. He is destined to rise. Dane Swan (85) and Scott Pendlebury (82) were ok for a pre-season game… Simon Buckley (33) looked ok in patches, but had limited opportunity.
For the Saints, Nick Riewoldt (85). The talk of his full pre-season, etc is all awesome… because, he was awesome! David Armitage (99) was great around the ground and at just over $300K, could be a bargain! Sam Fisher (74) played his typical role, and his score was pretty much on par with what we’d expect. Keep an eye on him next week. You’d be happy if you heard Brendan Goddard (59) had 25 touches. Unfortunately he lost 19 points by wasting 19 of them on handballs. A couple of cheap players, Alastair Smith (61) and Luke Miles (50), while unlikely to get a run when the big games come, looked pretty good – mid season downgrades maybe.
Great comeback by the 'Pies for a nailbiting finish!
