Finger: Will miss the start of the season after undergoing finger surgery. Wood injured the ring finger on his left hand in Friday night's NAB Challenge win over Adelaide in Alice Springs.The 22-year-old had a tendon reattached on Sunday and will be sidelined for six weeks.
Wood played 13 games for Collingwood last season, including the club's semi and preliminary finals, and was expected to offer strong support to new recruit Darren Jolly in 2010 as they try Fraser in a different role to help prevent his knee re-injuring. Is expensive for fantasy teams and not really worth it but now so even more.
