There is quite a lot of value in ruckmen this year. There are some that have been around a while and others that are new on the scene but will get plenty of opportunities to prove themselves.
Shane Mumford $242,900
He is at a new club and has the potentional but may be sharing the minutes with Seaby so watch and see how his scores are affected.
Brad Ottens $239,000
Coming back from injury could be worth looking at. The 2 factors are his age and fitness but at hjis price is very tempting.
David Hille $237,300
Coming back from injury and will play more forward this year as the bombers forward line re-builds. Could be a good cheap 2nd ruckman.
Nick Naitanui $232,400
Will play a lot more this year as Cox gets towards the end. Is definitely worth having a look at for your 2nd ruckman.
Mark Seaby $226,700
Could be the number 1 ruckman at the swans and has the ability to average 60-80 a week so is someone a lot of people have on there teams.
Matthew Leuenberger $202,100
Is fighting for the 2nd ruck spot with Charman but now that Charman is injured again (?)
will get an opportunity to cement his place in the side so could be a handy player for fantasy teams if he goes well at the start.
Ben Mcevoy $194,100
Has the ability but hasnt been given the opportunities he deserves but this year he should get a lot more and is someone to consider for 2nd or maybe even 3rd if you have the money available.
Jamie Charman $169,900
Injured not injured? always on and off... Not worth the risk stay away from him! a lot of better options.
Robert Warnock $101,800
Definitely worth having even as a starter because he could easily be the number 1 ruckman at the blues this year and at his price is going to make you money EXTREMELY quickly.
Wayde Skipper $95,800
After seeing him in the pre-season im sure a lot of people would have removed him from there teams but now after yet another injury to Hawthorns ruck stocks he would be back on a lot of teams and should definitely play a lot this year.
Mathew Lobbe $94,500
Was a big talking point but after his pre-season performances has dropped off the radar. Should still get a few chances during the year but not as a permanent fixture.
Jordan Roughhead $94,500
Has jumped onto a lot of fantasy teams in the past few weeks (mine among them!) but would be off a lot as well unless named in the early rounds.
