Fantasy Midfielders On The Up - Dream team

This year there is a lot of value in the midfield. There are a lot of semi-experienced players, cheap draftees, players returning from injury and players traded to new clubs.

Luke Ball $366,500
At a new club should fit in well and get a lot of opportunities at Collingwood along side Swan.
Is someone who may be worth having for fantasy coaches. Has been in good from in the NAB Cup.

Clinton Jones $323,700
Some people would be surprised I put his name down but even though he usually plays as a tagger he can rack up the stats and may be worth having a look at.

David Armitage $321,100
Most people are saying he will come into the Saints side this year as a replacement for Ball but he may not be worth his price for fantasy teams as he is around the price range of a couple other good players.

Shaun Burgoyne $314,600
At a new club will slot straight in but fitness remains a worry. At his best is definitely worth it but I personally wouldnt risk it.

Trent Cotchin $296,200
Has been plagued by injuries but is extremely talented and is now going to be at Richmond for a long time with a renewed contract so they must have faith in him. Could be someone to pick up but at the moment I am leaning towards Masten who is in the same price range.

Chris Masten $293,900
In the same category as Cotchin but has had the better pre-season and is more likely to be on fantasy teams.

Rhys Palmer $277,700
Is someone to think about but probably not for the start of the season as there is an injury cloud.

Daniel Kerr $271,600
At his price is extremely tempting and I know some people have him on there teams but I would stay away and see how he goes and maybe get on him later.

Patrick dangerfield $232,000
Is certain to improve but is not really a good DTer but is better as a Supercoach player.

Young & Ladson
Injury prone but extremely cheap. Probably not worth it. Both have proven they can play but i wouldnt risk it.

Roary Sloane $175,800
Played some games last season and was impressive in parts will get more opportunities this year as they have a lot of injuries. If there round 1 may be worth looking at.

Tom Scully $157,700
Is the number 1 draft pick so definately have to watch him but there are better options.

Daniel Connors $156,000
Has some experience and is someone to watch as he has been in good from in the NAB Cup.

Jack Trengove $153,500
Number 2 draft pick has been better than Scully and would be on a lot of fantasy teams should play a lot.

Dustin Martin $149,500
Has been tagged by many as the Daniel Rich of 2010. Is a must for your dream team.

Anthony Morabito $145,500
His pre-season form has been ok with notjing amazing will play but may be better to wait and see how he goes.

Ben Cunnington $141,500
Is at a team that needs plenty of midfielders but has been injured should play sometime early but wait to see how he goes.

Gary Rohan $137,500
Has played well in the pre-season but the coach at sydney said he wont play much. He should play though on form and would be on a lot of fantasy teams as he is listed both forward and .in the middle.

Mitch Farmer $115,000
Wouldnt be on my team but is tempting to some as he is at Richmond so will probably play and he also is listed as a defender.

Michael Barlow $105,800
Has impressed everyone during the pre-season and will almost certainly play from round 1.

Lewis Jetta $105,500
Has impressed during the pre-season has exceptional pace and is worth looking at maybe on your bench.

Mitch Banner $94,500
Will play plenty of games this year and has been impressive. Is definately someone to have on your team.

Luke Shuey $94,500
Is going to play a lot as the Eagles build up there midfield again. Worth having at his price.

Ryan Bastinac $89,500
Is definatley worth having at his price as he will play a lot and go up in value quickly. Impressed on debut.

Brodie Moles $83,800
Has been tagged by many as someone who will be elevated and could play but probably best not to start with him.

Hope this helps you all. I will follow this up with all the bargains in the other postions.
